Bob began his career as a chemist at Dow Corning, and has since gone on to lead strategic initiatives across the globe. Bob is a sought after facilitator and has more than 30 years of experience as an international consultant, working with clients in all sectors including government, fortune 100 and 500 companies, small business, non-profit, and communities.

Dr. DaVaughn L. Miller is a tenured Associate Professor of Choral Music at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, in the Hayes School of Music. A dynamic educator, choral conductor, and researcher, Dr. Miller brings a deep passion for music and cultural history to his work. He currently conducts the Appalachian Chorale, Glee Club, and the Appalachian State

Gospel Choir while teaching African American music history courses. Over the years, his teaching portfolio has included a wide range of subjects, such as Conducting, Elementary and Secondary

Music Methods, Music History, Hymnology, and Music in Worship, showcasing his versatility and expertise as a music educator.

Allison Preston

Allison R. Preston is a former Police Officer with over 35 years of experience working within the Areas, related to public health,

community engagement-collaborations, and investigations. As the Owner-CEO of Serving People -Empowering People (SP-EP) LLC,

he is responsible for enhancing and improving the quality of life for organizations and

communities. By working with neighbors, community leaders, non-profit groups, and

governmental agencies on the local, state, and federal levels, he has embodied the passion to

serve the community through empowering people.

Allison is a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as Co-Chair of the

Deacon Board, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Pi Phi Chapter Social Action-Chair. He serves as a Board Member with Grace-Mar Services Inc. and CrossRoad Corp. and a member of 100 Black

Men of Greater Charlotte Inc.

Kenneth Smith

Kenneth D. Smith is a creative and innovative leader with a proven track record of success across multiple industries, including government, corporate finance, workforce development and nonprofit management. As the President and Founder of Grace-Mar Services Inc., Kenneth has spearheaded transformative initiatives, combining strategic vision and operational excellence to create lasting community impact. With over three decades of experience, Kenneth excels in consultative sales, business development, and organizational leadership. His expertise has driven results in diverse sectors, such as securing the first $1.5 million YouthBuild grant in Charlotte, NC's history and managing multimillion-dollar portfolios for global companies like American Express.

Jason Pierce

Jason Pierce, Ph.D., is a management professor, consultant, and coach. In all three activities, he

works to promote better decision making and interpersonal skills. Jason currently holds an academic appointment at the University of North Carolina -Greensboro, following previous other full time positions at the University of Southern Mississippi and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago, Chile. He has taught as a visiting professor at business schools in the Americas and Europe. At these institutions, he has taught management courses, including managerial decision making, negotiation and conflict resolution, leadership, and organizational alignment. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Management from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
